Nourish Now Food Project

The third Monday of every month

Giving Together members and friends pitch in to help the Nourish Now staff sort, package and re-distribute surplus fresh food to those in need. Up to ten volunteers may sign up at a time.

A Wider Circle

The first Thursday of every month

​

On the first Thursday of each month, we have a team of volunteers at A Wider Circle. Volunteers will work in the Essential Support Program at the Center for Community Service in Silver Spring. We'll be sorting and organizing donated items that include: furniture, linens, kitchen items, toys, professional clothing and accessories. This program focuses on providing basic need items for individuals and families who are striving to rise out of poverty. Volunteers will also be able to work with clients directly as they select items for their homes.
