On January 20, 2020 -- the annual Martin Luther King, Jr., Nationwide Day of Service -- Giving Together volunteers provided and served lunch to the 8 residents of Becky’s House. Becky’s House is one of the many programs sponsored by Interfaith Works, a prior GT grantee. Becky's is a safe environment for eight senior, disabled women, many of whom have lived on the streets for decades with no place to go. The program provides case management and 24-hour staff, in order to improve the overall health and stability of these frail, higher-needs individuals.
